More than just taking photos….

Landscape photography is not just about the light, it’s about conveying a moment in time, expression, emotion and sometimes even a story. My love and passion for landscape photography is because it creates the possibility of capturing scenes that come straight from my soul.

I’ve been in the photography industry for over 20 years and I’ve have had the privilege to photograph many people and in recent years visit some amazing places. You know the ones? where you step out of your car or look out of your windscreen on those drives and go ‘wow, how breathtaking’

I am alway humbled by what I’ve learnt along the way, I never claim to be perfect, but authentic! Experience and knowledge are important to being a great photographer, but what I also found is just as important is the joy imagery brings to those who view them.

I hope that your visit to my site has you feeling inspired and who knows? perhaps make a connection with one of my images, enough to want it on your wall at home!

Competitions & Awards

Competitions in Photography are a great way to keep relevant in the industry but also for continious learning. They vary from size and category. I see them more of a learning experience and a way to get inspired. Judges are often well known and respected in the industry.

To be awarded is always a great honour, in particularly when recongnised by your peers.
